Select DO, DI and AI arrangements around the actual field-point list. Match command circuits, equipment feedback and external measurements to the supplied channel quantities and electrical specification.
Bring selected measurements and equipment-state data from multiple field sources into the acquisition and processing workflow. Define source identities, engineering units, scaling and update requirements within the supplied I/O and interface allocation.
Bring compatible equipment into a documented data path using the fitted serial connections and supported Modbus TCP functions. Confirm the device protocol, network arrangement and point mapping for each integration.
Configure the supported device-coordination roles for the project. Identify which node initiates an exchange, which responds and which data or commands are permitted for the selected interface and protocol.
Define the control mode for each permitted action, including its initiating condition, local priority and available feedback. The connected equipment retains its sequencing, interlocks and independent protection.
View uploaded monitoring data online in Hitelecom Cloud and receive alerts when configured thresholds are exceeded. Configure asset names, engineering units, monitoring limits and the notification workflow.
Adjust supported device settings and upgrade approved firmware remotely. Plan maintenance around the delivered hardware, software version and site procedure, then verify configuration and operation after the change.
Hardware and software watchdog mechanisms support recovery from defined abnormal operating states. Verify reset, reconnection and the resulting equipment-interface behaviour for the supplied configuration.
FIELD CONNECTIONS & INTEGRATION
Select the fitted field I/O and serial connections for the equipment. Modbus TCP is a protocol for data exchange; its network path, working roles and data map are specified separately from the physical interface.
Allocate digital outputs, digital inputs and analogue inputs to the installation’s signal list. Confirm output electrical type and permitted load, input-state definitions, analogue ranges and point quantities for the ordered version.
Integrate compatible instruments and equipment through the fitted serial connections. Agree the electrical arrangement, approved pin assignment, serial settings, device protocol and source-data mapping before connection.
Define the network path, supported working roles and data map for the selected Modbus TCP integration. Keep physical interfaces, communication roles and permitted read or write operations explicit in the project design.
MONITORING & CONTROL
Give each field point a clear meaning, define the permitted action and verify equipment feedback. Local controls, interlocks and independent protection remain part of the installation.
Identify the signal source, fitted interface and operating meaning of each point. Define digital normal states, analogue scaling and any serial data map before commissioning.
Select local, remote or condition-based operation for the permitted task. Agree the initiating condition, command priority, equipment permissions and the required local overrides.
Send the agreed action through an electrically and logically compatible equipment interface. Keep the equipment’s own sequence, interlocks and independent protection active.
Check available physical feedback or device readback independently from command transmission. Compare uploaded monitoring values with the source instrument and test configured threshold alerts in Hitelecom Cloud.
APPLICATIONS
Eight application areas, each with five engineering tasks, show how the controller can connect field measurements, equipment states and permitted control actions. These 40 tasks are selection examples, not 40 channels or a promise that every task runs in one unit. Allocate the selected points against the ordered I/O and serial configuration, then define protocol mapping, control permissions and equipment feedback for the installation.
8 application areas / 40 project tasks
Representative environments. External instruments, fitted interfaces and permitted control actions follow the selected installation.

Connect selected machine signals and external measurements to a defined service workflow for unattended retail equipment. Use the supplied I/O and supported equipment interfaces for monitoring and permitted auxiliary actions; dispensing, payment and transaction processing remain with their dedicated systems.

Combine documented machine-ready, operating and service indications so an operator can distinguish a usable machine from one requiring attention.

Bring an external compartment-temperature measurement into the monitoring view alongside the relevant machine operating condition.

Record selected service-door or access events to help operators relate a machine visit to its equipment data.

Monitor an external condensate level or leakage signal in the machine service bay before assigning the required service response.

Define service lighting or indication requests separately from the machine’s product-dispensing sequence.

Add visibility to selected shelf controllers, fixture services and store-side instrument points. The integration uses documented external signals or supported data exchanges; connection to a shelf fixture does not establish native compatibility with an electronic price-tag network or a pricing platform.

Read selected electrical measurements from a compatible external meter serving the fixture or retail service branch.

Extend the monitoring and permitted supervisory functions of existing control equipment through defined I/O and data interfaces. Agree device roles and supported Modbus TCP operations where applicable; the RTU complements the installed controller and does not replace its real-time sequence or safety functions.

ANSWERS FOR YOUR PROJECT
Answers for I/O selection, serial and Modbus TCP integration, control permissions, cloud access and remote maintenance.
It combines field data acquisition, equipment monitoring and project-defined control in a 4G LTE RTU. Selected DO, DI and AI arrangements connect equipment commands, states and external measurements. Edge processing, Modbus TCP integration, configurable control modes, cloud monitoring and remote maintenance support the operating workflow.
The series supports DO, DI and AI configurations, but the fitted quantities and combination are defined by the ordered version. Submit the signal list and obtain the configuration-specific electrical specification. The 40 application tasks are selection examples, not 40 simultaneous channels; larger point lists may require another configuration or additional controllers.
Serial interfaces and Modbus TCP operate at different layers of the connection. Confirm the fitted serial ports, electrical settings and device protocol separately from the Modbus TCP network path, roles and data map. The product description does not by itself establish an Ethernet port or an RS485-to-Modbus TCP conversion function.
No. Specify the supported network arrangement, communication roles, address or register map, data representation and permitted operations for the selected configuration. Compatibility must be checked against the connected equipment documentation. Modbus TCP support alone does not establish automatic discovery, automatic map recognition or unrestricted write access.
They describe supported device-coordination roles. Identify the initiating and responding node, the selected interface or protocol and the data or commands exchanged. Obtain the applicable role description for the delivered version; the term does not establish simultaneous operation in every role or a particular protocol conversion.
The series supports local, remote and condition-based control. Define the action, initiating condition, local priority, permissions and available equipment feedback. A transmitted command or active output does not confirm the physical equipment response. Keep the equipment sequence, interlocks and independent protection in place, and agree behaviour during lost communication or restart.
Yes. Hitelecom Cloud supports online viewing of uploaded monitoring data and alerts when configured thresholds are exceeded. Configure asset names, source units, monitoring limits and the notification workflow. Data availability and notification timing depend on the acquisition/reporting profile, power and network connection.
Remote configuration and firmware upgrades are supported for the applicable settings and delivered hardware/software version. Use approved firmware and the site maintenance procedure. Verify the configuration, instrument communication, uploaded measurements and permitted control functions after a change.
They support recovery from defined abnormal operating states. Confirm reset, reconnection and equipment-interface behaviour for the selected configuration during commissioning. Watchdogs do not replace equipment protection or establish uninterrupted communication.
Use the approved terminal drawing and electrical specification for the supplied version. Confirm signal direction, pin assignment, logic levels, analogue input conditions, grounding and instrument power arrangements. A 4–20 mA or serial label alone does not establish isolation, a supply output, a load rating or a complete wiring definition.
Connect each output to an electrically compatible equipment-control circuit and verify the permitted load for the ordered configuration. A suitable starter, contactor or intermediate switching device may be required. Output activation alone does not establish motor operation or valve position; use available equipment feedback.
Provide the installation country, field-point list, instrument specifications, equipment communication manuals and data maps. Include required control actions, local priorities, feedback points, power, site conditions, reporting needs and target platform. These details establish the I/O allocation, network and protocol scope, wiring documentation and commissioning checks.
